FILM SPEEDS - ISO

Film speed is the camera film or digital camera sensor's
sensitivity to light. The lower the number, the less sensitive to light.The higher the number, the more sensitive to light. The lower the ISO (film speed) the better quality pictures you get. The higher the ISO ( Film Speed), the lower quality of images because of image noise. There is an exception with the new high ISO speed sensitivity from the new Canon and Nikon digital camera models ( Nikon D300 and Canon 7D ).These are film speed numbers.100-200-400-800-1600-3200-6400-The difference between each film speed is equivalent to one stop.
